The Military Diet is an economic meal designed to help people lose up to 10 pounds in a week. The weight loss plan consists of a 3-day fixed meal plan that must be strictly followed.

Dinner: 3 ounces of meat (all kinds), 1 cup of green beans, half a banana, 1 small apple and 1 cup of vanilla ice cream

Day 2
Breakfast: 1 toast, 1 egg, and half a banana
Lunch: 1 hard-boiled egg, 5 crackers, 1 cup of cheese
Dinner: 1 half banana, half a cup of carrots, 1 cup of broccoli, 2 hot dogs and half a cup of vanilla ice cream

Day 3
Breakfast: 1 slice of Cheddar cheese, 5 crackers, and 1 small apple
Lunch:  1 slice of toast and 1 egg
Dinner: half a banana, 1 cup of tuna fish and 1 cup of ice cream

During these 3 days, substitutions (with certain restrictions) will be allowed; however, the total number of calories in each serving will be equivalent.

The remaining 4 days, there are no restrictions; however, advocates of this diet also promote healthy eating during these days. The total daily intake should be limited to 1,500 calories per day.
